At least the sun is out today! I’m currently in East Surrey working on a sash window refurbishment - the window has been removed so that all rotten areas could be removed and replaced, and new draught proofing is being added. Then the window can be reinstalled.
Obviously it makes the room feel pretty cold during the refurbishment process but, once finished, the work to the window should make the room feel a lot more snug during these winter months and a great deal more energy efficient.
