Welcome to FORSTER TIMBER WINDOWS

I'm Robert Forster, a joiner and sash windows specialist, and I'm the owner of Forster Timber Windows. I decided to set up my timber sash windows company after 20+ years working for another sash company, and I really enjoy meeting new clients and helping them with their window issues. Having your windows back to looking beautiful, and working well, really does make such a difference to your home and it is always great to have positive feedback from a client on how wonderful their windows now look, or how much warmer their room is as a result of draught proofing and double glazing.

I specialise in wooden sash window repairs and restorations, as well as installations of replacement windows. I aim to either bring your existing wooden windows back to looking beautiful and working the way they should, or by installing new replacement wooden windows that seamlessly replace the old ones.

I pride myself on offering a reliable, competitively priced, and friendly service. I offer quality workmanship and I use traditional methods to restore windows to the way they should be. I passionately believe that timber windows are so much better than uPVC - and they last a lot longer than them too!

Forster Timber Windows is based in Tonbridge, Kent, and I refurbish and install wooden sash windows for homes across Kent, Sussex, and East Surrey - including Royal Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Oxted, Sissinghurst, Crowborough, Brenchley, Wadhurst, Ticehurst (to name a few of my recent client locations!) and surrounding areas. Please do get in contact or see the AREAS COVERED page if you are unsure whether I cover your area.

I know that dealing with tradesmen can sometimes be difficult, particularly if you have had negative experiences being let down, or find the lingo very confusing, so I have tried to simplify things as much as possible by answering some of the key questions customers have which can be found on the FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS page and I have provided a SASH WINDOW TERMINOLOGY page as well. And I promise to always show up when I say I will!

I am more than happy to discuss your windows and doors over the phone or via email as well - it is often the easiest way and I can advise on what is best, and most cost-effective, for you.

Please do get in contact for advice regarding your timber windows and I can provide you with a free, no obligation, quote.
